WHO IS GREENABLE?
We are a green building materials company whose core focus is assisting architects, designers, builders, developers, and homeowners, create beautiful, efficient, sustainable, and healthy spaces in which we spend our lives.
Simply put, we supply materials and finishes for building projects. We specialize in kitchens and baths and all other interior spaces. We've worked on homes, office spaces, restaurants, cafes, corporate facilities, club lounges, museums, and everything else imaginable. We fabricate and install cabinetry and countertops. We install and maintain all our materials. We also consult and educate. We prefer collaboration over competition.
Either way, we have a lot to offer, and we are certain that once you begin working with us that you will fully agree our love of materials, quality of work, design expertise, and passion for our clients is what separates us from everyone else.
WHAT'S WITH OUR NAME?
Greenable is an adjective, obviously, but we weren't trying to be different or clever. It just came to us at the dinner table as they say. This word embodies who we are as people and as professionals. And here's why:
It stands for something very important to us. It indicates a strong potential. It is a philosophy. An idea. A belief - that through smarter decisions, we can protect our health, our environment and our future with a better course of action when we design, redesign, build, or renovate. And that these decisions snowball and compound and are extremely powerful agents of change that benefit not only ourselves and our families, but everything around us. That all of us can live better, fuller lives. That you and we and everyone you know and everything you see and every business and every institution and every industrial complex and every human activity and every creation ever conceived in the past, present, and in the future is actually, and quite simply greenable.

You've been seeing this word plastered everywhere. You've been hearing it on TV. Reading about it in magazines and newspapers. You've noticed that everywhere you go, the word follows you - Subway Stations. Billboards. Websites. Conversations. On and on. No, it's not a trend, although it has all the characteristics. The world is changing. People are recognizing the problems and stepping up. Green is a small word with meaning unrivaled in importance.
GREEN IS SYNONOMOUS WITH SUSTAINABILITY
By definition, sustainability is the ability to provide for the needs of the world's current population without damaging the ability of future generations to provide for themselves. When a product, process, or lifestyle is sustainable or "green", it exists within this criteria without negative environmental effects or impossibly high costs to anyone involved.
GREEN CAN MEAN MANY DIFFERENT THINGS..
to many different people. For some, it means simply "environmentally friendly," no matter how vaguely that phrase can be used. For some, green means recycling, and others, switching out the lightbulbs for CFLs
At Greenable though, 'green' points to a deeper set of beliefs: By designing, building, and living green, we work to reduce our negative impact on the planet in small everyday ways, by leaps and bounds, or somewhere in between. Either way, it means treating all resources as precious; living with nature instead of trying to subdue it. It means being energy efficient, lessening our use of petroleum products, and conserving water. Most of all, it is a mindful way of existing, trying to make every choice a better, more responsible one.
